Feb. ‘10
- 'Essentially Tragic' for Solo Electric Bassoon, Chamber Orchestra & Samplestra to be performed on February 9th by Matthias kronsteiner and the Tactus Ensemble. Matthias won the inaugural Contemporary Performance Program Concerto Competition with 'Essentially Tragic'.
- The piano concerto ‘Reinventions’ to be toured and performed in Canada and the USA with pianist Simone Dinnerstein and the Absolute Ensemble click
- 'Cold Wisdom Waiting' for elc. gtr., cello and perc. at Galapagos on Feb. 2nd with dancer/choreographer Megan Sipe for her dance piece Treblebrolly. Gene will also present a half an hour set of other music on this program . Click

March ‘10
- Gene is the Composer-in-Residence at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. He will have numerous premieres and performances of his music. On March 11th a concert of Gene's music will be featured on the 14th Annual Composers in Residence Day at Shea Auditorium.

Gene Pritsker's Sound Liberation: 2 nights at The Flea Theater
Sound Liberation Performs as part of Music @ the Flea. On the 29th they perform The VRE Suite, a one hour composition for the Sound Liberation quintet and on the 30th they perform music from their recent album and from Money.
